Steam Gala Surprise GWR 0-6-2T No. 5643 15th October 2017
The Furness Railway Trust’s Great Western Railway 0-6-2T Number 5463 is the Star guest at the Steam gala later this month, arriving on 12th October we have been lucky enough to have it visit Birkhill during this weekends running day 14th & 15th October.

LMS 4-6-0 Black 5 number 44871 with West Coast Railway’s class 37 number 37685 ‘Loch Arkaig’ travelling through Birkhill heading south to Manuel to join the Edinburgh to Glasgow mainline.
